Born in Chinchilla, Pauly grew up working on the family’s dairy farm at Warra
From the young age of 15, Pauly began preparing the farm’s cashbooks which fired up her passion for farming combined with accounting.
Upon finishing at Dalby State High School, she wasted no time and commenced work on 28 November 1994 with Carrick Ashmead where she started as the office junior.
After 12 months Pauly started internal on-the-job training as a tax preparer and got to attend regular tax seminars, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
“I have completed a Certificate IV in Business and used many accountancy programs over the years becoming proficient in Quicken, Quickbooks, BGL Simple Fund, Class and obtained certifications in Xero, Phoenix and MYOB,” says Pauly. “I am currently participating in an Agri-Businesss Management Program which will be completed this year.”
On the home front, Pauly is a mum to a boy and two girls.
“My husband has his own auto electrical business and we are both involved in the family farming partnership at Warra, which now produces beef and grain,” says Pauly. “I enjoy spending time with my family at home cooking and riding motorbikes, when I’m not in the office.”
Pauly loves working at Carrick Aland and enjoys her role as an Accountant.
“The client relationships I have formed over the last 24 years have been very rewarding and I pride myself on being a hard worker with high organisational skills that provides high level customer service. My passion is to combine the intellectual challenge and technical precision that this work demands with a strong client focus,” she added.
