Exceptional Disaster Assistance Recovery Grants – Queensland Monsoon Trough, Cyclone Koji and Severe Weather
Grants of up to $25,000 available to eligible businesses in Bundaberg, Douglas and Western Downs.
Applications close 15 January 2027.
Disaster recovery assistance has been expanded for flood-affected primary producers and small businesses across Queensland, with new areas now included in the Wide Bay–Burnett region alongside parts of western, central and Far North Queensland.
Grants of up to $25,000 are available to eligible businesses in Bundaberg, Douglas and Western Downs.
Flood-affected small businesses can also apply for loans of up to $250,000 in Boulia, Bundaberg, Diamantina, Douglas, Gladstone and Western Downs.

Eligible primary producers can access grants of up to $75,000, concessional loans of up to $2 million, and freight subsidies of up to $5,000. Support is available in the local government areas of Boulia, Bundaberg, Diamantina, Fraser Coast, Gympie, North Burnett and South Burnett.

Funding can be used for recovery and operational costs, including clean-up, repairs, restocking, wages, rent, rates, replanting and essential supplies such as fuel and water.
All assistance is delivered under the joint Commonwealth–State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
Applications for grants and loans can be submitted via qrida.qld.gov.au. Information on freight subsidies is available through the Queensland Department of Primary Industries on 13 25 23.
