We interviewed SMSF compliance specialist, Bronwyn, to see what makes her tick

It’s always heartwarming when you come across the stories about the teachers who inspire their students into careers. Intuitive Super’s Bronwyn Logan is one such case – thanks to her high school accounting teacher, Bronwyn decided to make accounting her profession.
And hasn’t she grabbed her particular accounting niche by both horns!
We say niche because Bronwyn was originally Carrick Aland’s super compliance specialist after joining the team in 2002. She quickly became known for breaking down the rules and keeping superannuation funds super organised. When Intuitive Super was formed in 2016 it made sense to corral Bronwyn’s talents into the specialist team.
“I always liked super funds,” says Bronwyn. “Certain complex rules can be interesting so clients’ funds can be stimulating work.”
Just one year on, Bronwyn continues her super fund compliance and administration, and now also provides strategic planning on super funds for retirees and pre-retirees.
She is also a dab hand at using and training clients to use Class software – innovative software for fast and efficient administration of self-managed super funds (SMSFs) and portfolios.
Clients benefit from both her knowledge and the enjoyment she gains from seeing them take on board a greater understanding of the role a well-advised and administered SMSF can play in their overall finances.
“Intuitive Super is up-to-date with technology and therefore very efficient at producing information and statements,” says Bronwyn. “Having access to straightforward financials or pertinent investment information, in real time, helps our clients to make better decisions.”

Bronwyn has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from USQ and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2000. She specialises in Self Managed Superannuation Funds administration. In her spare time she enjoys bushwalking.
