Support Buy a Bale on National AgDay 2018
21 November 2018 is National AgDay and Carrick Aland with RaboBank in Dalby will be celebrating with a BBQ fundraiser to support Rural Aid Australia’s ‘Buy a Bale’ campaign.
Carrick Aland Associate, Daniel Ellis, said it’s vital to support the campaign to provide much-needed financial assistance to rural communities and farmers currently impacted by drought.
“Farmers are vitally important to our region and we would love to make this an annual event to show our continued support to everyone on the land,” Daniel said.
Being a regional Queensland firm the Carrick Aland team, many of them farmers themselves, know firsthand the crippling effect of drought on rural communities, not just the primary producers.
“With so many of our staff, friends, families and clients affected by severe drought across Queensland we are passionate about supporting Buy a Bale and urge everyone to bring a few dollars along on 21 November to support the cause.”
“We would also like to thank Rabobank for their generous support on National AgDay and for supplying items for the Dalby BBQ,” Daniel added.
The Dalby National AgDay BBQ will run from 12-2PM on Wednesday 21 November 2018 in Carrick Aland’s car park in Starlings Lane, Dalby.
There will also raffle tickets available to purchase in a rural-themed gift pack with all proceeds going to the Buy a Bale fundraiser.
All Carrick Aland’s offices have donation barrels in reception along with information to encourage anyone to drop in loose change.
“This is very much about supporting our farmers whether they be our team, our clients or in our local community as well as their stock. We have the strength of our team across three offices working together to make a serious fundraising effort,” Daniel added.
