Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
To wrap up this year, we wanted to say thanks to all our clients for your patience and willingness to adapt to the new ways of working and operating that occurred during 2020.
2020 saw us Aussies battle bushfires, ongoing drought and a global pandemic followed by a national recession. The COVID outbreak pushed us to act quickly to provide timely advice in regards to government assistance and general business viability given the changing global landscape.
We want to take this opportunity to thank our team for their focus and dedication and you, our clients, for working with us as we ploughed through the minefield of new legislation that was implemented.
Please note that Carrick Aland’s office will be closed from 24th December 2020 and will reopen on 4th January 2021.
Good news and milestones
- Just before COVID took hold, Daniel Bartkowski and his wife, Brooke welcomed their baby daughter and third child, Stella (bottom left), into their family.
- In our first virtual awards event, Carrick Aland was named Multiservice Firm of the Year at the 2020 Australian Accounting Awards. This recognised the stand out firm in the Australian accounting industry that most effectively diversified its offerings with services complementary to accounting and we were thrilled to be recipients of this highly prestigious recognition.
- Partner David Johnston reached a couple of significant milestones in 2020. David not only celebrated his 50th birthday, but he also marked his 30-year anniversary at Carrick Aland!
- We loved working with our client Susan Jacobs at Susan Jacobs Photography to create a stunning video to celebrate National Agricultural Day 2020!
- We carried ourselves off to the Warra Races this month to celebrate our end of year Christmas break up:
