Queensland Small Business Strategy
The Queensland Government has launched a new round of funding designed to support regional small businesses.
Through the Queensland Small Business Strategy, more than $2.2 million in funding will be available to help businesses scale up, enhance services, boost productivity or transition from small to medium-sized enterprises.
The Queensland Government offers several grant programs to assist small businesses at different growth stages, aiming to build essential capabilities, embrace innovation and tap into high-growth opportunities.
Current grant programs include:
- Business Basics grants (up to $7,500) – for new and emerging businesses to develop core skills and adopt best practices
- Business Boost grants (up to $20,000) – for small businesses to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Business Growth Fund grants (up to $75,000) – for small to medium-sized businesses to purchase specialised equipment.
