Carrick Aland Leadership Transitions
Carrick Aland is proud to announce that long-serving Managing Partner Wayne Turner is stepping into a dedicated role as Rural Succession Specialist, focusing on supporting farming families through intergenerational transition.
After a stellar four-decade career with Carrick Ashmead and then Carrick Aland, Wayne remains an active and valued member of the firm. His shift in focus reflects both his personal passion and the increasing need for expert succession advice across the region’s agricultural communities.
“Succession planning is one of the most important conversations we can have with farming families,” said Wayne. “It’s a privilege to help clients protect what they’ve built and support the next generation in taking the reins.”
To fully dedicate his time to this vital service area, Wayne is stepping away from his general client responsibilities and practice governance duties. Clients will be transitioned with care, with continuity and individual attention remaining top priorities.
This leadership transition is part of Carrick Aland’s broader strategy to strengthen its future capability and regional leadership.
With Wayne taking on this specialised role, Carrick Aland is also delighted to announce three Associates stepping into Director roles – Daniel Ellis, Daniel Bartkowski and Cameron Sorley – a reflection of the firm’s long-term investment in its people and clients. Carrick Aland’s continued investment in leadership ensures clients receive consistent, high-quality advice and personal service, while also preparing the firm for the next generation of growth.
Wayne continues to be a trusted leader within the firm, and his dedicated focus on succession ensures Carrick Aland remains a key partner in supporting the future of farming in the Darling and Western Downs.
