Support Carrick Aland’s Buy a Bale for drought-affected farmers
The Carrick Aland team is digging deep to support Rural Aid Australia’s ‘Buy a Bale’ campaign.
Fundraising coordinator and new Associate, Daniel Bartkowski, said it’s vital to support the campaign to provide much-needed financial assistance to rural communities and farmers currently impacted by drought.
Being a regional Queensland firm the Carrick Aland team, many of them farmers themselves, know firsthand the crippling effect of drought on rural communities, not just the primary producers.
“With so many of our staff, friends, family and clients affected by the severe drought across much of Australia we are committed to playing our part and lending a hand,” says Daniel.
“That’s why we are passionate about supporting Buy a Bale and urge everyone to give what they can to the cause.”
Carrick Aland in Dalby, Toowoomba and Chinchilla are going all out to draw attention to Buy a Bale with a number of planned activities that are intended to raise serious funds.
“Each of our offices will have a donation barrel in reception along with posters to encourage anyone to drop in loose change.”
“We want to attract as many donations as possible and let everyone know how fundraising is progressing,” says Daniel.
Carrick Aland individuals are also coordinating fundraising activities throughout this financial year.
“Constantly asking for donations can become a bit stale over 12 months, so our team is working on some fun ways to get our community involved. I’m really looking forward to helping our team get their ideas off the ground. We are sponsoring a truck and already have morning teas and meat tray tickets in the pipeline.”
“This is very much about supporting our farmers whether they be our team, our clients or in our local community as well as their stock. We have the strength of all our team across three offices working together to make a serious fist of fundraising,” Daniel added.
