Scooters and balls for Salvos kids this Christmas
In keeping with our Christmas giving tradition, this year we’re delighted to be able to donate funds from our accounting and wealth planning teams and match those to purchase scooters and balls for the Salvation Army to give to kids this Christmas.
It’s a big call – we elected to forgo our Secret Santa festivities for another year – but well worth being able to support a very worthy cause!
Huge thanks to Brian Hedge and Hedge’s Sports Store for providing a discount which enabled us to purchase more scooters and balls, and for also assembling the scooters.
Keeping up the tradition, last Christmas our team elected to forgo Secret Santa to donate to Toowoomba charity, BASE Services, which works with individuals and families in need in our community who are homeless or at high risk of homelessness. We’re pleased to report that the initiative was so well received that we’ll be doing it again (sorry Santa 😉
