Watch the ATO’s new director ID demonstration video
If you’re the director of corporate trustees of an SMSFs, you must apply for your director identification number (director ID).
The fastest way to apply for your director ID is online using the myGovID app to log into ABRS online.
This director ID demonstration video will take you through the steps you need to complete to apply for your director ID.
Once you’ve logged into ABRS online using your myGovID, you’ll need to provide additional information to verify your identity with the ATO’s records. Most applicants use:
- bank account details (where your tax refunds or payments are made and received)
- an ATO notice of assessment.
You may need to contact Intuitive Super as your agent to obtain some of this information to complete your application.
